Dr. Daniel C. Randall is a native of Aiken, South
Carolina. He received a Bachelor of Science from Clemson University
and a Doctor
of Veterinary Medicine Degree from the University of Georgia School
of Veterinary Medicine.
He graduated Magna Cum Laude from both institutions
and received the Upjohn Pharmacia Award for clinical proficiency
in medicine upon graduating from the University of Georgia School
of
Veterinary Medicine.
Before moving to the Greenville area, Dr. Randall
spent six years in a busy mixed animal practice in Greensboro, Georgia
near Lake Oconee.
While in Georgia he cultivated an avid interest
in advanced small animal surgery techniques including orthopedics,
reconstructive soft tissue surgery and minimally invasive surgical
techniques. He then spent a year working on a research project at
the University of Georgia investigating experimental gene therapy
techniques for treating bronchioalveolar carcinoma.
In 2004, Dr.
Randall returned to private practice in the Greenville area working
as an associate at the Fountain Inn Animal Clinic and as a surgeon
at Fairview Point Animal Hospital. Dr. Randall recently served as the President
of the Greater Greenville Veterinary Medical Association.
He and his wife,
Leigh, have two sons, William and Hampton.
The Randall family enjoys the companionship
of their dogs,
Alma, Dixie and Copper, and their cat, Moses.
Dr. Amy Snyder grew up in West Columbia, SC. She pursued a degree in Animal Science at Virginia Tech before enrolling at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine, located on Virginia Tech’s campus in Blacksburg, VA.
Dr. Snyder graduated from Veterinary school in 2002. After graduation she worked at a busy mixed animal clinic in Clarksville, VA. She was there for three years before leaving Virginia in 2005 to return to South Carolina. Dr. Snyder currently served as the past President of Greater Greenville Veterinary Medical Association.
Since arriving in the Upstate she has been practicing exclusively small animal medicine. Her interests are in preventative and internal medicine. When not working, Dr. Snyder enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog, traveling and working in the yard at their house. Dr. Snyder and her husband have recently welcomed twins Elliott and Hollen to their family.
Dr. Joy Culbertson is a native of Laurens, South Carolina. She received a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Clemson University and is a 2009 graduate of University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. Before receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from UGA, she worked as a veterinary assistant for 10 years in Laurens, SC at Holmes Veterinary Hospital. During veterinary school, Dr. Culbertson worked in the Small Animal Intensive Care Unit at the Veterinary Teaching hospital and was an active member of various organizations including the Veterinary Business Management Association and Shelter Medicine Club.
Dr. Culbertson is an Omega Tau Sigma Veterinary Fraternity alum, member of South Carolina Association of Veterinarians, American Animal Hospital Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association. Her professional interests include small animal internal medicine, soft tissue surgery and preventative medicine.
She takes a special interest in the human-animal bond.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Culbertson enjoys spending time outdoors whether it be hiking, kayaking, or just enjoying time with friends and family. She enjoys yoga, reading and all Clemson Tigers sports! Dr. Culbertson’s four-legged family includes two Chihuahuas, Tink and Butters, and a boxer named Holly.
Dr. Culbertson is now accepting new patients at our main office in Greenville.
Ruth Bale, D.V.M. received her Bachelor of Science and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees from Oklahoma State University. An “oil brat”, Dr. Bale was born overseas but considers herself “mostly from Oklahoma”.
Dr. Bale has lived and worked in the Upstate area since 1990. She joined Foothills Veterinary Hospital in the fall of 2009 and practices small animal medicine and surgery at the South office.
Dr. Bale supports two “spoiled” dogs and two “rotten” cats. She enjoys gardening, antiquing, travel and watching more NFL football than is reasonable.
