Dr. Brooke Wooten

"Dr. Wooten is a native of Blythewood, South Carolina. She received her Bachelor of Science from Clemson University and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine.

She graduated with honors from both institutions and received the award for Clinical Proficiency in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery upon graduating from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine

During veterinary school, Dr. Wooten enjoyed her studies and took a special interest in theriogenology (reproductive medicine), cardiology, dermatology and wellness/preventative medicine.

Dr. Wooten was a student ambassador for the University of Georgia. She also attended and later served as a counselor at VetCAMP (Veterinary Career Aptitude and Mentoring Program), a week-long, on-campus summer program for high school students. At VetCAMP, students experience veterinary medicine and are involved in activities aimed at evaluating their skills and competitiveness as future veterinarians.

Outside of work, Dr. Wooten can be found spending time with Austin, her husband, and their Golden Retrievers, Jett and Copper. Together they love spending time at Lake Jocassee or most anywhere in the great outdoors. They also like to attend Clemson football games. Dr. Wooten enjoys cooking and baking and has recently started a new hobby of gardening.
